As newly appointed Chief Financial Officer, Jesse Romero oversees the expansion of Zunch into Shanghai and official overseas operations. He also interacts with investors and joint venture capitalist.
Jesse joined the Zunch team as controller in July of 2005 after working in various accounting capacities with Belo Corp., Temerlin McLain, and Excel Telecom. He was most recently with American Service Systems Corp. where he was the manager of Accounting and Finance. His initial responsibilities with Zunch have included overseeing the day-to-day accounting and operational activities.
Jesse has extensive experience in corporate finance, budgeting and consolidations. He has also served on the board of the National Society of Hispanic MBA’s. Jesse is a 2004 graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance. He also received a MBA from the University of Texas in Dallas. Jesse is a Certified Public Account as well as member of the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy and Texas Society of CPA’s. He is married with one son and resides in Dallas.
