Staff Acountant

Employee will support the controller in accounting, HR, Payroll, and other general office tasks.
Accounting - general
- Responsibilities will include various Accounting assignments as needed.
- Management of AR and collections. This will include all invoicing processes and procedures.
- Management of all aspects of AP-Invoice entry and payments and other Accounts Payable responsibilities.
HR & Payroll Function
- Oversee Benefits Accounting within the Human Resources department.
- Assists in annual open enrollment process and new hire processes.
- Primary contact for any HR related issues regarding benefits and vacation reconciliations.
- Enter all payrolls into the Intuit website and reconcile to Excel spreadsheet.
- Add/Delete new hires and terminations on the benefits website.
- Manage commissions and company bonus plan.
Position Requirements:
- General accounting background and/or a minimum of 3+ years experience working in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll in a high-volume setting.
- QuickBooks expert.
- Proficiency working with Microsoft office products and Internet.
- Strong correspondence and communication skills, as this person will have to communicate with customers via email and phone at times.
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a busy environment.
- Self-starter with minimum supervision.
Position Details:
Status – Exempt
Pay – Up to $36k based on experience
